A Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) or Scooter brings a new dimension to diving: a fun and efficient way to cover more distance underwater, without having to fin. The scooter is easy to use but this course will teach you some technics and safety rules to enjoy the full benefits of it.

Prerequisites:
• Documents to be signed: Medical statement, Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement,
Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding
• 12 years old (PADI), 18 years old (SDI)
• Open Water

Specific Equipment required (provided for the course/ also available for rent/ for sale):
• Scooter (DVP)
• Torch, Slate
• Visual and audible surface signalling device

• 2 hours

• Pre-dive preparation, maintenance, transport
• Some elements of physics and physiology

Practical exercises:
• 2 dives

• Emergency procedures

Prerogatives after certification:
(Reminder: Maximum depth 40 meters for recreational diving in the Red Sea):
• Maximum depth depending upon prior certification
