This new circuit, launched by DIVING ATTITUDE in 2016, push up north the limits of the traditional Northern safari routes till the famous Blue Hole and Canyon in Dahab. On the menu: The Ras Mohammed national park, the Straits of Tiran reefs and the most famous dive sites of Dahab. A circuit opened to all levels but a dream for tekkies and experienced divers!
Departing from Hurghada on the Sunday morning, you will cross the Gubal strait right after a check dive to concentrate all dives till the following Friday morning on this northern part of the Red Sea, from the Ras Mohammed national park to Dahab dive sites (weather permitting)
Surrounded by fabulous landscapes between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, you will dive in the turquoise-blue waters of the Ras Mohammed national park with its extremely rich fauna and flora; you will later drift dive in the Straits of Tiran along Gordon’s and Jackson’s reefs, explore the canyons of Woodhouse’s and Thomas’s reefs, before reaching Dahab where the highlights will be on diving the Blue Hole and the canyon! Many hidden dive sites also awaits tekkies on this circuit for the most experienced ones.
This circuit is accessible to N2 divers (FFESSM) and Advanced O.W. divers with a minimum of 50 dives.
You will be welcomed and given your visa by a DIVING ATTITUDE representative immediately upon your arrival in Hurghada airport terminal on the Saturday. After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to the boat at Hurghada new marina within 15 minutes where you can start relaxing, set up you gear, take a nap or enjoy the sundeck till diner (boat ready to welcome guests from 4.00 pm)
On Sunday morning, the boat leaves Hurghada marina to reach the check dive site before crossing the Strait of Gubal to start the “serious” part of the program with the 2nd dive. You will dive a minimum of 16 dives during the week, between the Ras Mohammed National Park, the Straits of Tiran and Dahab area (the program may be subject to changes according to weather conditions or military requirements). The daily rhythm is given by the bell, indicating the time for diving or the time for meals.
The safari ends with the boat returning to Hurghada marina on Friday afternoon. Friday night dinner, accommodation and Saturday morning breakfast are included; either on the boat or in a 3 stars hotel if required for organization purposes. If departure from the boat on Saturday, breakfast is served at 8.00 am and guests are kindly asked to leave the boat by 9.00 am so that it can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the following safari. DIVING ATTITUDE will take care of your luggage while you are free to visit Hurghada’s souks, restaurants…It is possible to have access to a private beach with restaurants, showers…at a cost. Transfer to the airport.
